Did you know that FCCLA offers opportunities to get healthy at the National Leadership Conference? That’s right! FCCLA offers many opportunities for its members to participate in events that will display the healthy you, the fit you, the real you, and the resilient you. Be sure to take part in the following events and opportunities this summer in Atlanta, Georgia!

  • Workshops- When you arrive in Atlanta, look at the conference schedule for workshops that relate to Student Body. Remember, Student Body is not limited to fitness. I encourage you to attend any workshops related to mental health or nutrition.
  • Competitive Events- Consider participating in a Competitive Event that you can relate to health in any way. Some examples include Culinary Arts, Food Innovations, National Programs in Action, Sports Nutrition, Advocacy, or Focus on Children.
  • Exhibits- Visit the exhibit hall to meet with our partners who relate to health. You can speak with people who can provide information on projects to implement in your chapter next year. You never know just how inspired you can get at the exhibits until you attend.
  • Run4Red- Participate in the FCCLA annual Run4Red 5k walk/run. Unlike previous years, FCCLA is shaking it up by making the event a glow run! Join your friends as FCCLA lights up Atlanta in red for this spectacular event. There will three winners in the male and female categories.

I hope to see you join in on these events in Atlanta, GA, this June!
