When you think of FCCLA, what pops up into your mind?

The red blazer and leadership are two things that pop into mine. The red blazer will be the official dress code starting in 2018 and that will help us be more recognizable. The red blazer will be a fantastic branding tool!

Wait, branding? What is it? Why is it important? What does it really do?

Branding is the promotion of an organization by means of advertising and distinctive design.

Here are some tips and tricks that can help all of us build and maintain a strong FCCLA brand:

  • Wear the branded clothing with pride! Show others how proud you are to be wearing our organization’s logos and colors.
  • Promote member success on social media and in local newspapers.

Remember, the importance of properly presenting the trademarks cannot be overstated!

An organization’s marks need to be consistent. Consistent presentation of the mark suggests stability and reliability of the organization it represents.
