INSIDE: #FCCLAgearsUP for Summer!

With summer just around the corner and the weather warming up quickly, everyone is excited to get outside and be active. For June, the National Executive Council is challenging you to Gear UP and be as active as possible! Here are some of my favorite things to do during the summer to stay active and healthy by following the four units of Student Body.

Healthy You

Summer is my favorite time to cook! There are so many fresh ingredients that can make delicious healthy meals. My favorite summer snack is grilled peaches. You can eat them on their own, add them to a salad, or add a small scoop of vanilla ice cream and cinnamon!

Fit You

Get out and do something active! The nice weather is the perfect opportunity to get out and hike, bike, swim, or even get a group of people together to play volleyball each week. Don’t forget that sunscreen!

Real and Resilient You

“Schoooools out for summer!” This is a perfect time for you to unwind from the stress of being a student and enjoy the great outdoors! Relax, become a better you, and get ready for the next school year!
