You may be asking yourself, “How do I have a successful FCCLA Week?” First, check out the useful tools that National FCCLA has put together to help you. In addition to these, here are a few tips to help you!
Be sure to take plenty of pictures: National FCCLA has a different social media hashtag for each day of the week. Plus, I am sure your local newspaper and TV stations would love a look at what you do during FCCLA Week!
Work to find a partnership: Try to find a partner around your community that would be interested in sponsoring supplies for your local chapter. Local partners are an excellent resource for your chapter, and FCCLA Week is the perfect time to show potential sponsors what FCCLA is all about.
Remember to say thank you: Having a successful FCCLA Week depends on multiple people. A nice thank you note or social media shout out would both be awesome ideas to thank everyone who helped your chapter.
Have fun: FCCLA Week is all about rocking the red and representing FCCLA. FCCLA Week is a great opportunity to unite in red, recruit members, and make an impact across your communities.
At the end of FCCLA Week, it is important to remember that all of your fun and hard work don’t have to end. Use every day of your time with FCCLA to do something amazing. Use your time to celebrate discovering FCCLA, and use your FCCLA spirit to encourage others to join the Ultimate Leadership Experience!
