FCCLA recognizes its members and advisers for their outstanding dedication and achievement through a variety of recognition programs.
Students can participate in Competitive Events, such as; national contests, Family and Consumer Sciences Knowledge Bowl, and STAR Events; Students Taking Action with Recognition, on the local, state, and national level. Students are also recognized for their individual achievements through Dynamic Leadership, Leaders at Work , and completion of Power of One. Chapters are recognized for their outstanding work through National Program Awards and for their efforts in membership recruitment.
FCCLA recognizes the importance of higher education, and awards several scholarships to FCCLA national members through sponsorship from partners and universities. Visit the Youth Scholarship section of the website to view opportunities that will assist members in continuing their education and leadership development. FCCLA members may also apply to participate in a six-week Japanese Exchange Scholarship opportunity during the summer.
The Adviser Recognition Program seeks to reward outstanding local advisers for their significant contributions to FCCLA. Recognition is given through the Master Adviser, Adviser Mentor, and Spirit of Advising Awards.
National Program Summary Report Form– Now Online!
Program Summary Reports are for those chapters who would like to receive recognition at the National Leadership Conference, in Teen Times, and on the FCCLA website for a national program project, but will not be submitting a National Program Award application. Summary Report forms are due to FCCLA national headquarters by April 1. The report form is available on the Program Award website.
