LIFE, Inc:

There are many careers from which young people have to choose. They can be an accountant, a teacher, a chef, a business owner, or a consultant; the list of potential career options goes on and on. But how can young people in today's world begin to determine what is available to them? How can they identify the career that is most appropriate for them?

The Deloitte Foundation realizes that today's young people are tomorrow's talent, and understands the value of exposing them to the many potential career options. That’s why they teamed with Neale Godfrey, author of LIFE, Inc.: The Ultimate Career Guide for Young People to provide her book, student journal, teacher’s guide, companion website and other valuable tools to help middle and high school students begin thinking about possible careers.

LIFE, Inc.: The Ultimate Career Guide for Young People provides creative ways for students to begin thinking about future careers. The associated website encourages young people to examine their likes/dislikes and talents in innovative and interactive ways. Techniques of gaming and assessments are some of the tools utilized.

The LIFE, Inc. curriculum consists of the: Career Guide, Student Journal, Teacher’s Guide and supplemental website.

Accessing the LIFE, Inc. materials: 

 By completing the simple registration process at www.deloitteinsiders.com, you will be able to access the LIFE, Inc. pdf materials and participate in the interactive LIFE Inc. online program.   After registering at www.deloitteinsiders.com, you will find the LIFE, Inc. pdfs and link to the supplemental LIFE, Inc. website on the LIFE, Inc. bumper page and also within the Teacher’s Corner.

Following the use of these program materials, the Deloitte Foundation requests that you and your students participate in a short, online survey located on the LIFE, Inc. bumper page and also within the Teacher’s Corner of the Deloitte Insiders webpage.
