FCCLA is pleased to announce the 2008 National Cluster Meetings theme: Motivation in Motion.

Attend a National Cluster Meeting this fall and discover new ways to put FCCLA’s national programs to work for you! Travel to one of four exciting cities and prepare for your future as you participate in FCCLA: The Ultimate Leadership Experience.

A promotional poster was mailed to all FCCLA advisers on April 1 and the National Cluster Meeting Brochure will be included in the Fall Chapter Mailing.

FCCLA is looking for Breakout Session (workshop/training) presenters!

Volunteer at one of the 2008 meetings by presenting an FCCLA Breakout Session. This is an excellent opportunity for chapter members and advisers to present a workshop on topics listed in the application or they can recommend their own ideas for consideration. Details...

Housing Policy

It is important that all FCCLA delegates attending the meeting use the official convention hotels. The Board of Directors has implemented the following policy: Delegates who live more than 50 miles from the convention site and do not stay in one of the official convention hotels will be assessed a meeting room fee of $25.00 per registration in order to register for the meeting. Registration Policy

Registrations will not be processed until completed registration forms and payments and/or purchase orders are received.
To receive the regular registration rate, both the completed registration form AND payment must be postmarked by the regular registration deadline.
All persons attending the meeting or any part of the meeting must be registered.
Official registration badges must be worn to all meeting functions. Badges will be checked at the entrance of meeting functions.
Wristbands are required for the dance. Wristbands will be issued with registration materials.
Children under nine years of age are discouraged from attending sessions and meal functions. Children and family members who attend sessions must register for the meeting and pay event fees.

Register for the regular registration fee of $70.00 for the:

Jacksonville, FL or the Providence, RI meeting BY October 10.
Cincinnati, OH or the Dallas, TX meeting BY October 17.

Register for the late registration fee of $80.00 for the:

Jacksonville, FL or the Providence, RI meeting BY October 29.
Cincinnati, OH or the Dallas, TX meeting BY November 5.

The on-site registration fee of $90.00 is effective 10 days prior to each meeting.

Take a look at the Tentative Agenda At-A-Glance and see the opportunities for students and advisers to expand leadership skills, sharpen talents, explore career pathways, be inspired, and have fun. FCCLA will bring the meeting to a close with a dance. The admission fee is $5.00. Dance the night away with your new FCCLA friends. It is the chapter adviser’s responsibility to chaperone their students during the dance. Advisers must register and pay for the dance if they have students attending.
