Special Events

To enhance your National Leadership Conference experience, FCCLA is offering the following special events this year to enjoy the sights of Orlando with your fellow members. These events are optional and require pre-registration for an additional fee. Registration for these events is done in the FCCLA Portal when registering for the conference. The special events are included in the Dare to Dream registration package or can be purchased separately.


Special Event: FCCLA Night at Universal Studios Florida

TUESDAY, JULY 8  - 5:00 PM – 11:30 PM

Get ready to Dare to Dream at Universal Studios Florida! We’ve reserved exclusive after-hours access to the world’s premier movie- and TV-based theme park. You will have access to the park starting at 5:00 PM. Once the park closes at 9:00 PM to the public, FCCLA attendees will have exclusive after hours access until 11:30 PM, including The Wizarding World of Harry PotterTM — Diagon AlleyTM, plus incredible rides and attractions like TRANSFORMERSTM: The Ride-3D, Illumination’s Despicable Me Minion Mayhem, the full-throttle, high-octane ride, Fast & Furious – Supercharged, and more.

Experience an unforgettable exclusive evening after hours at the theme park, surrounded by your new FCCLA friends!

Cost: $113 per person

Price includes:

  • After 5:00 PM, Universal Studios Florida park ticket (per person)
  • Exclusive access for FCCLA Members from 9:00-11:30 PM

  • Frequently Asked Questions - Universal Studios Florida

    Which Park does the event take place?

    • The park ticket is for entrance into Universal Studios Florida starting at 5:00 PM. You will not have access to the Islands of Adventure Park.

    Can I purchase a 1-day park ticket to Universal Studios Florida or a multi-park ticket on my own and get access to the special event?

    • No, you will have access to the park until 9:00 PM but you will not have access to the after-hours time in the park for our special event. You must purchase the Special Event ticket to gain access to the after-hours time between 9:00 – 11:30 PM in the Universal Studios Florida Park. If you wish to enter the park before 5:00 PM, you must also purchase a full-day park ticket.

    How will park staff know who can stay in the park after hours?

    • Those registered for the special event will have a FCCLA LED event wristband to signify to staff that they do not have to leave the park at 9:00 PM. 

    Where can I use the $25 Gift Card?

    • You can use the $25 gift card in any food or retail outlet inside the park.

    How do we get to the park and back?

    • Optional transportation can be purchased during the registration process to provide busing from your hotel to/from Universal Orlando Resort. Buses will run from 4:30 PM - 12:00 AM. Or you can provide your own transportation at your own expense.

    What happens if there is inclement weather?

    • Safety of all attendees is our top priority. Inclement weather may cause the park to temporarily close rides or areas of the park. The event will occur rain or shine.

Transportation to Special Event: FCCLA Night at Universal Studios Florida

TUESDAY, JULY 8 - 4:30 PM – 11:59 PM

Need transportation to/from Universal Studios Florida? Step out of your hotel and be transported via a comfortable air-conditioned motorcoach to a fun evening with fellow FCCLA attendees at Universal Studios Florida. Buses will be available from all FCCLA hotels to take you to the park between 4:30 PM and 7:00 PM. For the return, buses will be available at the Universal bus parking lot from 8:30 PM through 12:00 AM. Buses will drop you back off at your hotel at the end of the night.

Busses will be divided into hotel routes so please ensure you return on the correct hotel route. Staff will be available with signage to assist you for the departure and return.

Cost: $25 per person

Price includes:

  • Roundtrip transportation to Universal Studios Florida from your hotel
  • Onsite staff, and applicable taxes and gratuities

Special Event: PRINCESS SING-ALONG BREAKFAST!

TUESDAY, JULY 8 – 8:00 AM – 9:00 AM

Come dressed as your favorite prince or princess and join us for a magical Princess Sing-Along Breakfast at the Rosen Centre Hotel! Enjoy an enchanted morning filled with your favorite princesses as they sing classic songs while lyrics appear on the big screen—so you can sing along, too!

Indulge in a delicious breakfast fit for a prince or princess while capturing picture-perfect moments with the royal guests. Don't miss this one-hour experience full of music, magic, and memories!

Aquatica Water ParkAquaGlow After Party at Aquatica

WEDNESDAY, JULY 9 - 7:00 PM – 11:00 PM

Help bring the 2025 National Leadership Conference to a close by diving into a world of vibrant hues and electrifying energy at Aquatica. Whether you stroll beneath the illuminated Jellyfish Garden, wander through the mesmerizing Ultraviolet Bubble Zone, or grab a light-up tube in the lazy river and float under Tubular Sky, you'll see that every inch of the park is transformed into a glowing Instagram-worthy moment! FCCLA has exclusive use of the water park.

Aquatica has 60 acres of water, slides, beaches, lazy rivers, and two wave pools.

Please note that Aquatica Orlando is a family environment, therefore we ask that the appropriate swim attire be worn (full coverage swimsuits).  Revealing swimwear is not permitted.  Cotton shorts or shirts, sport shorts, cover ups, loose fitting articles, or similar items are not permitted on body slides. Swim wear with buckles, rivets, or any sharp objects are not permitted on body slides. Footwear such as water shoes, sandals, or water socks are permitted, but not on certain slides.

Towel rental is available on site for $5 per towel. Locker rentals are available onsite.

    Does FCCLA have exclusive access to the water park?

    • Yes, only FCCLA attendees will be in the park during our event.

    What is there to do at the water park?

    • There are 10 exhilarating waterslides of varying styles and speeds to suit everyone. In addition, there are two side-by-side wave pools, a water playground, and a lazy river to enjoy. There will be sun chairs to relax, as well as, fun glow activities and a DJ playing tunes.

    How do I rent a towel?

    • Towels can be rented inside Kiwi Traders Gift Shop for $5. They must be returned at the end of the night. Rental towels are 22”x44”.

    Are there lockers to store our items?

    • Yes, you can purchase a locker inside the park. There are three locker rental locations. Price varies by size of the locker. Prices include $35 for standard, $45 for large, and $50 for jumbo. There are limited lockers and are first-come, first-served.

    What is the parking fee if we provide our own transportation?

    • Parking is free and included in the event fee.

    Can I bring cash to purchase additional food or items?

    • The park is cashless and only accepts credit/debit cards (American Express, Discover, Mastercard, and Visa), as well as, Apple Pay and Google Pay. The park has Cash-to-Card kiosks throughout the park to convert your cash into a Visa pre-paid debit card (with zero service fees).

    What type of footwear can be worn on the Aquatica attractions?

    • They currently allow footwear like water shoes, sandals, or water socks on most of the Aquatica attractions. Footwear is restricted on the following attractions, Riptide Race, Omaka Rocka, Reef Plunge, and Ihu's Breakaway Falls. Check each ride's entry sign for specific restrictions.

    Can I wear goggles at Aquatica?

    • Swim goggles are permitted and may be purchased in their gift shops.

    Can I wear a Life Vest or are they available at the park?

    • All attendees under 48” are required to wear life vests on most attractions. Aquatica Orlando provides United States Coast Guard (USCG) Type III life vests in a variety of sizes and Type II for infants free of charge throughout the park. Only USCG Type II or III life vests may be worn; floatation devices such as noodles, swimmies, in-suit floatation devices, personal swim rings/floats and boogie boards are not permitted.
    • Personal life vests that are in good condition and clearly marked approved by the USCG - Type II, III and V may be worn at Aquatica Orlando if approved and tagged by our staff. Please visit the information counter on the beach for details. The information counter ambassador can also provide attendees with a colored wristband to easily identify which rides they meet the height requirements for.

    Can I bring my own food and beverages into Aquatica?

    • No outside food and beverages or coolers are allowed inside the park. You may bring a bottle of water or a refillable water bottle. Exceptions may be made for attendees with special dietary needs by contacting Guest Relations when they arrive at the park for approval.

    What happens if there is inclement weather?

    • Safety of all attendees is our top priority. Inclement weather may cause the park to temporarily close rides or areas of the park.

Transportation to AquaGlow After Party at Aquatica

WEDNESDAY, JULY 9 - 6:30 PM – 11:30 PM

Need transportation to/from Aquatica? Step out of your hotel and be transported via a comfortable air-conditioned motorcoach for a fun evening at the Aquatica water park to close out NLC with fellow FCCLA attendees. Buses will be available from all FCCLA hotels to take you to the water park between 6:30 PM and 8:00 PM. For the return, buses will be available at the Aquatica bus parking lot from 8:30 PM through 11:00 PM. Buses will drop you back off at your hotel at the end of the night.

Busses will be divided into hotel routes so please ensure you return on the correct hotel route. Staff will be available with signage to assist you for the departure and return.

Cost: $17 per person

Price includes:

  • Roundtrip transportation to Aquatica water park from your hotel
  • Onsite staff, and applicable taxes and gratuities
