How do we get to the stadium?

Transportation to/from the stadium will not be included. The stadium is an easy metro, taxi, or Uber ride away from the convention center area.

Metro: Attendees can take the Metro using the train lines below. Please allow plenty of time when traveling to and from the ballpark via Metro.  Visit Metro's website (www.wmata.com) for the most up-to-date information.

The Taxi Stand is operated beginning approximately two hours after the first pitch and remains open until a half (1/2) hour after the game's conclusion. While the Washington Nationals make every effort to reduce wait times at the Taxicab Stand, wait periods may vary subject to local taxi volume.

Uber – Do not provide South Capitol Street as your drop-off or pick-up location. The street is a busy highway and stopping there is dangerous. There are a few suggested drop-off/pick-up locations located near the ballpark:

    • N St. SE and New Jersey Ave SE

    • L St. SE between First St SE and New Jersey Ave SE

    • M St. SE and Half St. SE

Nationals Park offers a variety of specialty food & beverage options. Concession stands are listed here to review the options.

Where will FCCLA attendees be seated in the park?

Each attendee will have an assigned seat on their physical ticket. FCCLA has tickets in the 100, 200, and 400 levels of the stadium. Chapters will be seated together, and we will make every effort to keep state delegations grouped together as well.

Please note: After June 9, 2026, additional ticket purchases may not be guaranteed seats together.

    What time do gates open?

The game officially starts at 6:45 PM, gates open at 5:30 PM or 75 minutes before the first pitch.

Attendees with diaper or medical bags may use the ADA/Family lanes. All bags are subject to search. Click here to see the policies and restrictions at Nationals Park.

What happens if there is inclement weather?

Even with inclement weather, the Nationals will make every effort to play the scheduled game.  In the event a game is postponed, the Nationals will post updates here and on social media. If the game is cancelled, the game ticket can be used on the make-up game date or exchanged for another game this season or the following year.
