Awards & Scholarships
Scholarships will be awarded to Competitive Event participants in select events and levels during the 2022-2023 school year. Collegiate scholarships are offered by partners and are not administered by FCCLA. Final tuition scholarship award amounts and additional qualification requirements are determined by the sponsoring partner. Please contact your state adviser for information on additional state-specific scholarships.

AUGUSTE ESCOFFIER SCHOOL OF CULINARY ARTS

National Finalist Scholarships
The following scholarships will be awarded to the top placing Level 3 participants in the events indicated above during the 2023 National Leadership Conference:
- First Place - $7,000 scholarship to attend the Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts
- Second Place - $5,000 scholarship to attend the Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts
- Third Place - $3,000 scholarship to attend the Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts
All national Level 3 participants in the events listed above will receive a $500 scholarship to attend the Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts.

State Finalist Scholarships
The following scholarships will be awarded to the top placing Level 3 participants in the events indicated above at all 2023 State Leadership Conferences:
- First Place - $5,000 scholarship to attend the Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts
- Second Place - $3,000 scholarship to attend the Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts
- Third Place - $2,000 scholarship to attend the Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts
All state Level 3 participants in the events listed above will receive a $500 scholarship to attend the Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts.

The following scholarships will be awarded to the top placing Level 3 participants in the events indicated above at all 2022-2023 District / Region Conferences:
- First Place - $3,000 scholarship to attend the Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts
- Second Place - $2,000 scholarship to attend the Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts
- Third Place - $1,500 scholarship to attend the Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts
All district/region Level 3 participants in the events listed above will receive a $500 scholarship to attend the Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts.

- Students must provide proof of the applicable competition award.
- The scholarships in this category are eligible to be awarded together, but students cannot exceed the overall scholarship maximum of $7,500 in a residential diploma program or $15,000 in a residential Associate Degree program.

CULINARY INSTITUTE OF AMERICA
The Culinary Institute of America (CIA) is an American private college and culinary school specializing in culinary, baking, and pastry arts education. The college, which was the first to teach culinary arts in the United States, offers associate, bachelor's, and master's degrees, and has the largest staff of American Culinary Federation Certified Master Chefs.

The Culinary School of Fort Worth is a nationally accredited culinary institution that offers a more personal, hands-on approach to education for our students. - These scholarships cannot be combined with other CSFTW institutional scholarships.
- These scholarships are only able to be used at the Culinary School of Fort Worth.

FASHION INSTITUTE OF DESIGN AND MERCHANDISING

The following scholarships will be awarded to the top placing Level 3 participants in the events indicated above at all 2023 State Leadership Conferences:
- First Place – $5,000 tuition scholarship to attend the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising

Notices
- These scholarships are non-renewable.
- These scholarships are only able to be used at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising.
- If a winner is eligible for additional FIDM scholarship(s), the amount of the full-year scholarship will be reduced by the amount of the additional FIDM scholarship(s). Further, if a student is eligible for federal or state grants or additional scholarships from other sources, the amount of the full scholarship applied to the student’s first academic year will be reduced by the amount of the additional grants and/or scholarships. The amount of the reduction, caused by federal or state grants, or additional scholarships from other sources, will be made available as a scholarship award in the student’s next academic year.
- The student is responsible to pay Initial & Final Application fees. The scholarship amount may be disbursed in either one or more quarters to the student's FIDM account. The full, one-year scholarships include tuition, fees, books, and most supplies. The scholarship is applied to tuition and fees only and has no cash value.
- In order for scholarship recipients to use their award(s) at FIDM, they must plan to begin their studies at FIDM in the first or second academic quarter for which they are eligible following their graduation from high school. In addition, they must meet all Admissions Requirements, including a recommendation from their Admissions Advisor.
- Should a recipient take a Leave of Absence, change his/her major, withdraw from FIDM or return from academic dismissal, he or she is entitled to complete the remaining number of units of the original program to which he/she was accepted. Upon change or return, any additional units required for the current major beyond the original contract, will be charged to the student (subject to prevailing tuition costs at the time of change or return). Scholarships are non-transferable.

JOHNSON AND WALES UNIVERSITY

NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF PARLIAMENTARIANS
The National Association of Parliamentarians® (NAP) serves the needs of today’s parliamentarians and those interested in learning about parliamentary procedure. NAP was organized in 1930 and has members in the U.S., Canada, and other countries who actively study and practice parliamentary procedure in civic, charitable, community, faith-based organizations, business and professional associations, and government entities.
- The top ten (10) teams in Levels 1 – 4 will each be awarded medallions from the National Association of Parliamentarians during the 2023 National Leadership Conference.
SULLIVAN UNIVERSITY
Sullivan University is a private institution of higher learning dedicated to providing educational enrichment opportunities for the intellectual, social, and professional development of its students. The institution offers career-focused curricula with increasing rigor from the certificate through diploma, associate, bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degree levels.

- First Place - $15,000 scholarship to attend Sullivan University
- Second Place - $10,000 if pursuing a Culinary/Baking degree; $8,000 for all other programs to attend Sullivan University
- Third Place - $5,000 scholarship to attend Sullivan University

- Students will only be allowed to use one competition grant (highest amount received).
- Starting classes at Sullivan by the fall start immediately following high-school graduation to receive the grant.
