Rosie the Llama
Rosie the Llama is FCCLA’s beloved unofficial mascot. What began as a limited-edition item at a national conference quickly became a familiar part of the FCCLA experience, with Rosie making appearances in National FCCLA publications, resources, events, and special initiatives.
While Rosie is not an official symbol or logo of the organization, she is an FCCLA-created character reserved exclusively for use by National FCCLA.
Rosie’s Story
Rosie made her first appearance in November 2022 at the National Fall Conference in Columbus, Ohio, when a limited-edition plush llama was introduced in the FCCLA Store.
Originally intended as a novelty item, the plush quickly exceeded expectations, selling out within the first hours of the store opening and generating significant attention among FCCLA Members and Advisers.
Following the conference, interest in the llama continued to grow. In February 2023, FCCLA launched a national naming campaign and invited members to submit and vote on potential names.
In March 2023, Rosie the Llama officially received her name.
Since then, Rosie has been embraced by FCCLA Members and Advisers across the country as FCCLA’s unofficial mascot.
