FCCLA At The Bell
Bring current events, real-world situations, and career preparation into the Family and Consumer Sciences classroom with FCCLA At The Bell, a free video series created in partnership with Stukent CTE.
Designed to fit easily into classroom instruction, each short video gives students an opportunity to explore timely topics, consider real-world decisions, and strengthen skills that connect FCS education, FCCLA, Competitive Events, and future careers.
Use an episode as a bell ringer, discussion starter, lesson connection, or competition preparation activity. With new topics added throughout the year, FCCLA At The Bell gives educators another ready-to-use way to make classroom learning relevant to what students are seeing and experiencing in the world around them.
Built for the FCS Classroom
FCCLA At The Bell gives advisers a simple way to bring timely, real-world learning into the classroom without creating another lesson from scratch.
Each episode can help students connect FCS concepts to situations happening in industries, communities, workplaces, and everyday life. The short format makes the series flexible enough to complement an existing lesson, reinforce a classroom concept, or become the starting point for a larger discussion.
Use FCCLA At The Bell To:
- Start class with an engaging bell ringer
- Introduce a new topic or reinforce classroom instruction
- Connect current events to Family and Consumer Sciences

From the Classroom to FCCLA Competition
Strong performance in FCCLA Competitive Events requires students to do more than understand information. They must be able to apply what they know, communicate clearly, think critically, and respond to real-world situations.
FCCLA At The Bell provides another opportunity to practice those skills through timely topics that encourage students to analyze information, discuss different approaches, and connect classroom learning to practical situations.
Whether students are preparing for Competitive Events or developing skills for future careers, each episode provides another connection between what they are learning and how they can apply it.
