Cold Springs High School FCCLA Brings Holiday Joy Through FCCLA Angels Project

This holiday season, the Cold Springs High School (CSHS) FCCLA Chapter in Alabama, demonstrated the power of leadership, service, and community through its FCCLA Angels community service project. Through a successful candle fundraiser, chapter members raised enough funds to adopt three local elementary students in need, ensuring they experienced a brighter and more joyful holiday season.

From fundraising to final preparation, students worked collaboratively while practicing financial responsibility, organization, and teamwork. CSHS FCCLA Adviser Stephanie Blair said, “Members applied leadership and life skills by budgeting and planning purchases, shopping together on December 10 to select thoughtful, age-appropriate gifts, and wrapping presents the following day.”

Blair also shared appreciation for the support that helped make the project successful. “The chapter also extends  sincere appreciation to the CSHS lunchroom staff for their generous donations, which helped make this project possible,” she said. In true holiday spirit, contributions from the school and local community helped bring this meaningful effort to life.

Through compassion, dedication, and teamwork, CSHS FCCLA Members exemplified FCCLA’s Mission of strengthening families and communities. Their commitment to service made a lasting impact and helped ensure a memorable holiday season for local children. These efforts highlight how FCCLA Members are making a meaningful difference by translating their leadership skills into real-world impact within their communities.
